ABOUT L.A.soundtrack As a child raised within a school for the performing arts in Boston, MA, Scooter found his comfort and home in music. It was there he began writing songs and performing his creations for any and everyone. “When I watch the footage playing before me, as I score, I know what it took to get that image up on to the screen. I lived the hours and know the technical aspects of the day- to- day grind to get things just right.” It's this insight, Scooter feels, that has rounded out his film scoring skills and enhanced his overall movie appreciation. “I'm not just slapping music over some images. It's my job to breathe life into the musical ideas the director and producers have had swirling around inside their imagination, from pre-production, to production, to editing, and to the spotting session. The goal, for me, is simple: To accompany the project seamlessly, as if the music was always there to begin with.”
